Mr. Prabakaran is the Founder and Managing Director and a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Government College of Technology. He brings over four decades of experience in die-casting, tooling and precision manufacturing. Under his leadership, DTI has grown from a small tooling setup into one of India’s leading aluminium die-casting tooling and engineering companies with advance integrated manufacturing capabilities.

Joined DTI in 2015 after completing his PhD in Nanotechnology from the University of Oxford as a Felix Scholar. He leads operations, R&D, strategic growth and integration initiatives. Under his leadership, DTI has accelerated its transformation toward advanced aluminium casting, automation, Industry 4.0 technologies and sustainable manufacturing systems.
Holds a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Manchester and focuses on lean manufacturing Engineering from the University of Manchester and focuses on lean manufacturing, design systems, modular manufacturing and process optimization. He is also actively involved in expanding the company’s automation capabilities, scalable production systems and next- generation manufacturing infrastructure aligned with global automotive standards.
